Turbocharger, and Remap should see around 350hp, so quite an easy power gain on these. You are pretty much on the reliability limits of the stock block there, so adding better pistons and rods will ensure this works ok. Adding the other performance parts you should be able to hit the 280bhp...

This is typically caused when the cambelt alignment is out. Does yours have the adjusters on the cam lobe where it takes the belt to alter the cam position? Variable valve systems adjust this automatically so it might have just messed up the variable valve timing if there is one on those...

Hi Buddy, good to hear from you. I've not been around much myself, the mother in law had a fall and has needed nursing attention from us. Thankfully she is recovering though so hopefully I can get back into work again.

Oven cleaner can work really well on exhausts, but not ideal for some chrome finishes so test on a small area first. A dash of TCUT (Abrasive Polish) with a dremmel or drill polishing tip will usually bring up a nice shine on exhaust tips though.

The very general rule of thumb is going with a short, wider inlet runner moves the torque curve up the rev range whereas long, narrow runners move the curve down the rev range. The mismatch at the port can be minimized with a tapered end rather than sudden shelf. Your Valve job will also help...
