Just seen this -) Nice car, but not really a USA Elan equivalent. 1472kg as opposed to 700kg, 400bhp compared to 125bhp max and a 0-60mph of around 4.5 sec with the Elan being around 7 sec. However, as you say, the Elan would run rings around the Vette on a twisty race course :) The nearest USA...

We regard to the possibility of the Elan appearing in a Zombie movie, I cleaned it up a bit and threw a coat of rattle can black matt over it. It looks more presentable and has the added bonus of showing up the imperfections still to be dealt with (lots).

This may not be the best way of adjusting door gaps but it works for me :) Cardboard for the gap. P40 as the filler. Needs fettling but getting there.

No, they are standard wheels. More like these, which I fitted many years ago.
