    For my Z3

Hi mate. I'm good thanks. Doing all my winter prep over the next few weeks so very busy. How have you been?

    For my Z3

Around 200bhp but I'm yet to have it dyno'd. If you need info on the 'charger and a look at it fitted then see my project thread.

    1999 BMW 750iL E38

Unfortunately mate not a lot was made for the E38s. You will mostly have to go custom. However, BBTBs and a better intake are a good start, combined with an exhaust system for increased flow. You really need to view this link: BMW E38 740.

    Somebody lend me £4K?

What's collocation? Maybe we should buy it together. Then we could burn it, and shoot the owner.

    For my Z3

Yeah. The M42 and M44 were used in the Z3. Only difference being the battery location (Z3s have them in the boot).

    For my Z3

To help update such an old post. The best way to get power out of the Z3 with the M44 engine is a supercharger. All info on the supercharger can be found in my project thread (see signature) as the 'charger used is the same.

    Lamborghini dimensions question

Re: Speed limits on country roads Alternatively you could just get the tape measure out. ;)

    Hi! Can you help?

I beg to differ. Corsa VXR is the prime example. Slap a turbo on to an engine without any precautions then wonder why they all blow up. Shocks that fail after 40,000 miles as well. Sorry mate, but there's a reason why Vauxhalls don't cost so much brand new. My bogo E36 was more in 1995 than...

    Hi! Can you help?

Not brand new. But new enough to judge. Don't get me wrong they aren't all bad cars but I still think old BMWs handle better and they are definitely better built.

    Induction Kit Question

    Indeed mate. :(

    Induction Kit Question

It doesn't suit E36s because of the shape. Seen it done but don't like it tbh. I've thought about carbon fibre ones but I'd have to bond them to the car and make them anti-theft proof as they're so easy to get off.

    Induction Kit Question

That cone will do nothing. You could get the first link you posted but use a longer pipe to keep the cone away from the engine. It depends on how much space you have to play with.

    Hi! Can you help?

I'be got a 17 year old BMW with a humble 1.8 engine in it. Then I added a BBK and a supercharger. It's a learning experience and it's a bit more individual for it. Why buy an old BMW? Because they are still better built than a new Vauxhall and more fun to drive.

    Carbon Question

Ah ok. That's a better reason. I would still get it resprayed though. However, if you're intent on wrapping then add a laquer to it after you've finished. Also, whilst it isn't to my tastes it will be to other members so post plenty of pictures!

    Carbon Question

If you've sanded it down and removed the rust, then where are the issues leading to wanting to wrap it in vinyl? Covering such a big area is fake carbon will only look poo imho.

Before buying that huge brake upgrade, read this

The single piston setup in most BMWs can be improved upon quite nicely. But the ones in your 330 are actually quite good. But in response to the link. I actually have a BBK and in comparison to the original brakes it is far better!
