Hi i new here.
I have just had my c20let redtop engine freshly rebuilt|Blueprinted.
It has a fully forged internals with steel H beam rods and JP low compression pistions machined to suit my stage 3 k16 hybrid Turbocharger.
It has a coscast head with fully gas flowed and ported head ports and a pair or kent uprated cams (fast road).
I have installed a walbro 255 in tank fuel pump and all new injection hoses neoprene.
I have a 3inch top hat with 2.5inch alloy boost pipes running through a FMIC.
The ECU is a regal auto sport phase 4 with power wheel. It came with a 3.5 bar FPR and advised to run the Bosch yellow injectors.
I have yet to run in the engine firstly but the engine builder suggested a remap on my chip set but the problem is i cant find anyone resealable to carry out the tweak to my exsisting map.
Can i adjust the parameters of my set up manually like bigger injectors and a boost controller ?
Its running 21 psi over boost and i have a wideband sensor installed and the fuelling looks good before i had my engine rebuilt it was running 290 bhp im hoping to get 300+ bhp now after the run in. Can anyone advise me on chips or injector specs to use safely.
Many thanks and best regards

Hello and welcome |B

From my 20+ years of tracking and road driving my modified turbo powered car that went in stages over time from 120hp ATW TO 380 hp ATW unless you want it to go bang I would advise that you find a reputable dyno tuner that either can remap your existing ECU or install an aftermarket computer that the tuner recommends.

I lost a fresh forged motor due to a poor dyno tuner and after a lot of searching found one that had a workshop that rallied Mitsubishi's so would trailer my car to his shop some 2 hours away.

Higher flowing injectors will require remapping on a dyno as they will be overfueling / running rich .at all throttle openings.

Been there done that many times.

PS hope you know the correct running in procedure and it is not the old school way of driving like miss Daisy for 500 or more miles.

PPS you need to know what your injector flows are @ WOT on a dyno and if they are less than 80% then they will be fine.

Many thanks for the information. My engine builder just said get it remapped.
But im having trouble finding a tuner that can flash the eprom chips.
