Is it possible to add a supercharger to a Honda civic type r?

Yes you can as there are a couple of kits available on the net.

I have an acquaintance that has the centrifugal type on her FN2 for 2 trouble free years.

IIRC it cost $10 k Aussie dollars including a HD clutch fitting and tuning and I think that you will also need a Hondata as well .

Dont forget to reinforce your engine else it might pop with the extra pressure.

IMO 4 trouble free motoring build it right with a chemically cleaned block and head forged pistons and rods with the whole rotating assembly including the clutch and flywheel dynamically balanced with a metal head gasket ARP studs everywhere upgraded clutch,fuel pump,injectors and dyno tuned/mapped a bit on the conservative side.

PS ensure that the bores are torque plate honed and I suggest Total Seal gapless rings for better cylinder seal and less blow by.
