Sorry for the slow reply, i've created a new thread for you so more people will spot it.
You'll still want reliability. Fast road cams, induction kit, sports exhaust and a remap should get you closer to your goal. Fast road cams give another 20% or so power at the top end. Can the gearbox take it though? A Nitrous kit will add the power really easily but you'll need to refill the boost bottle when you run out and if you like your power you will run out often.
