Celica T sport VSC/ traction control and engine warning lights on

Recently got my celica t sport back from repaire (engine rebuild after snapped con rod) Car perfect for 24 hours but now the VSC and traction control 'off' warning lights along with the engine warning light are persisently on, I rang mechanic who said bring it back Monday but I'm scared in case my poor car breaks down again! would the engine warning light come on as a response to the VSC/ TC issue? or is it likely to be something else I have to worry about as well?

No never got to the bottom of it, it's now an intermittent thing- comes on anything from 5-500 miles, doesn't effect performance in any noticeable way so I have just started resetting the ECU to get rid of the light- probably a bad thing to do I know, covering the symptoms rather than addressing them but truth be told I haven't the skills, nor the spare money to get it fixed...
