If you are a regular BP ultimate user then this is a thread for you.

What are your thoughts and experiences with this fuel? Do you get more miles from it?

I only use Ultimate in my turbo as a lot of dyno operators say it makes the most power.
There have been tests that have proved??that it is better than the Shell 98RON

My accountant "Bless her cotton socks" insisted on getting me a BP fuel card a few years ago. The beast only ever has the Super unleaded "Ultimate" in the tank, I have never had any cause for complaint about the performance.
I will say this though, on occasion when the fuel is low and I just happen to be near a Shell station then V-Power is always a treat for the beast ;)

Most fuel stations around Southend are BP, and the car gets BP ultimate when I can afford it. Most of the time BP unleaded is used as its around £1.32 a litre. Not bad fuels and have nothing bad to say about them. Super market fuels I stay away from.

I avoid supermarket fuel - have done so for years

Even Tesco's Momentum 99. Yes - high RON figure. But lower calorific value than standard 95RON
