Hi I'm Porter from Charlottesville Virginia and I just purchased my first car, a 1992 Mazda Miata. Aside from body damage its in pretty good shape. If anybody has owned one of these cars or dealt with them before, please feel free to post a reply. I have a low budget so any cheap performance upgrade suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hello there, may I wish you a very warm welcome to TorqueCars. It is good to have you along. Which engine do you have the 1.6 or the 1.8?

Suspension mods would be top of my list. A panel air filter is one of the cheapest mods, just don't expect much power from it. Your first job is getting the car running efficiently so make sure it is fully serviced and running as it was intended to.

It is a 1.6 liter, and i am buying my self a K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit for Christmas which I feel will help a little with performance. What kind of suspension upgrades would you suggest.
