    WRX Sti Brembo's ('53 plate)

can anybody point me in the right direction of the cheapest place for replacement pads for the above? my lads' car but i said i'd ask around before he shells out the thick end of £500 notes. reckon they are due in about 1000 miles so i need to find some soon - damage the discs and he'll well...

Hitchhikers - pick em up or leave em?

once saw a fine looking young girl getting picked up by 'white van man' on the entrance to the M6 at haydock - once the door was open 2 hippy type guys appeared as well and i bet the driver wasn't overly impressed!:p i think they still got the lift but it just shows that all isn't what it first...

advice is free but repairs is not m8! for a first car steer clear of anything bmw or not 'run of the mill' cause at some point you'll be buying for it and at least spares for a henry will be plentiful and cheap should you need em.:blink1: unless of course you're in the trade or have access to...

To many cars or too few roads?

too many cars on short journeys and too many entry/exit points on motorways which make 'em huge car parks at certain times of the day. if i travel say into manchester i park on the outskirts and catch a tram into town. quicker and cheaper than sitin in traffic and parking charges and no wardens...

    Your Fantasy joyride

i gotta say my 'fantasy, most joyous and maybe even erotic' joyride would be a 63 drop head e-type with all the chrome glistening in the sun along the california highway from seattle all the way down to the mexican border with Liz Hurley on board! well, we can all dream!

    An Old Newbie Newbie?

Hi everyone and thanks for the welcome!:blink1: Yep it's gonna be a fun ride getting my car/s sorted just right. Deffo don't want a hair dressers car with my Vit so i'm gonna take some time and plan to do it right. The basics are there with the big v6 in it i just gotta decide how i do the...
