Had them read at audi the only one to come up was throttle body which i cleaned,it cured rough idle. I was wandering if it could be waste g actuator but at 2500rpm the car is only just coming into boost,this is when the prob occurs.

Hi all,i am getting a knock on the near side of my a4 1.8t when i drive over small bumps or drain covers,the car drives and handles fine and has just passed the mot, any ideas?

For the most part the car is pretty sorted now,i do get the occasional stall on boosting max- only every now and again, the new pcv puck valve was worse so i stayed with the old one. Thanks again for your help.

Done the above as in last post , all good -garage wanted 280.00 pounds for fitting these service items! Just need right spanners and some patience, parts cost 120.00 that is better than 400.00 all in.
