Mustang 383 Stroker
Current Cars Mods.
This Mustang started out as a Saleen Sport Six. It has since been modified with a legal swap to a Vortech supercharged Saleen 351w V-8, and now has a Custom built (By Coast Engine Builders in Los Angeles) 383 stroker with all the goodies. It has a lot left over from the Saleen builds and some new things too. I am still working on the 383 (It needs some issues with the Vortech resolved, such as where to fit it!).
About
I have been interested in this stuff since the sixties, already in high school. My brother worked in gas stations and always had a different car. So I got exposed to the disease at an early age. Back then it was 57 Chevy Bel Airs, they hadn't even invented Toyotas and Nissans. I had a White 59 Caddie in pristine condition that I had to sell when the first gas crisis hit. We also had a lot of VW Beetles and English sports cars, Triumphs, MGs. I had a Corvette for a while but I didn't like the fiberglass body. A guy sideswiped me one day and half the body on that side exploded into a thousand pieces. The body shop I took it to did a half-fast job on it and I sold it; couldn't stand to look at it anymore. Anyway, I moved to Sweden about 6 years ago and haven't finished the Mustang because my garage is not insulated and there are only about 12 to 15 weeks a year that I can stand the temp. So it's been a disappointment. I really want to finish the car this summer so I can drive it on the track here.
