    yes it is 2.0 pSA. i have a blanking plate ordered. considering changing the inlet elbow and bottom turbo pipe to a 406/ c5 on to minus the air dosers

    daedric, the best route to take is to get diagnostics done to read any faults logged on the engines ecu. if you could find anyone close to you who has peugeot planet software who could do this for you to help pinpoint the problem and avoid wasting money.

    just got this fixed and finally want to finish that service. what oil should i use? cant seem to get amsoil in the uk, and my fap is removed so i wont need low saps will I? thanks :D

    thanks t9 man. the mechanic has the head off and says there are 5 bent valves. he has already sent it to a engineering workshop to get fixed but i just found it hard to believe that so many valves bent :sad2:

    well mechanic said it slipped 4 or 5 i think. regardless she'll not start...diagnostics say there is crank cam sync when shes turned over so the timing is set right now. I have just heard that bent valves on these engines is very rare but the mechanic still wants to pull the head :confused:

    Hi, PUG 307 2.0 HDI 8v timing slipped and when aux belt shredded question is....on these engines i hear valve damage is unlikely due to rockers breaking to protect them on piston valve contact. anybody heard of this?? :embarrest:

    Hi guys, need your help again :confused: fanbelt frayed and got caught in crank pulley and the car had to be towed out to garage for fear that it had hit the timing belt. fanbelt was changed, but the car wont start, it turns over but wont fire. mechanic is saying the head neeeds to come off...
