- I have owned my GTO since 2003 but left it stock until 2005. Fist tuned to 525 BHP / 610 ftlbs then subsequently to 631 BHP / 705 ft lbs on a bone stock motor with full interior. Ran 10.9 second 1/4 at 124 mph. It has undergone a serious rebuild since and puts down around 1100 BHP with more to come. Weight has been reduced from 1720kg down to 1240kg including a fully welded in 8.50 second spec roll cage and hefty steel flywheel scatter plate. Had lots of transmission troubles due to power but hopefully sorted now. Best 1/4 so far was 9.7 with a best terminal of 158.47 mph
