yeah that helps thanks! i wasnt sure because the alternator belt seems to go round the cams aswell but im guessing its chain driven inside? i needed to be sure because the price difference between a cam belt and alternator belt is quite abit so yeah thanks i know wht t buy now!

iv been looking at aftermarket girlls for cheap but from my research apparently you cant get aftermarket ones for a corsa c pre facelift. the only ones available are irmsher or steinmetz which obviously look better but i dont really want to pay £150 for a grill!

update on the de-badging, i sucessfully de-badged the back of my car by doing the method i mentioned before but then using a bit of petrol on a sponge to wipe off the adhesive. this worked suprsingly well and hasnt left any marks on the car. the paint is slightly faded where the letters were but...

yeah i think it could either be wheel bearings or buckled wheel. the garage told me i can get the buckled wheel sorted out for about £30 which seems good to me. i'll get this fixed and then see if the problem persists thanks for the help

not sure when it was last serviced, iv only had the car for about 2months though. I think its up for MOT in july, so its been a while. I got the car back last night and luckily it was only the CV joint that needed replacing so cost me £50 plus labour.

if i turn the engine on, then it sounds ok, but as soon as i touch the clutch and try to use the gears the noise starts. i should hopfully have it back from the garage tonight and i'l report back what the problem was. thanks for the feedback
