I'm in my 60s, retired, married and have long term illnesses, as does the wife. We have children, all grown and flown, and we have grandchildren to.

We live a pretty quiet life in a small quaint village on the outskirts of Lincoln in the UK. We enjoy travelling, driving, gardening, reading and movies.

About
I'm an old hand, started work as a mechanic at a very early age, qualified, started drag racing in Oz at 17, but returned to the UK and became a machinist at a gas turbine manufacturers, but returned to the motor industry and qualified further, also working as an MOT tester. Finally worked for a fleet operator with some 1300 vehicles, so got to work on everything from busses, gritters, road chipping spreaders and police cars and motorcycles. I'm a quiet but diehard speed freak.
