i just came into a 1965 Ford Mustang coupe v8. it's primered and it's ready to get additions. the interior has been torn out, no engine or radiator. i plan on going with the most powerful 289 i can, giving it a supercharger, new steering wheel, dual exhaust, new suspension, APC racing seats in the front and i still don't know what to do with the back seats. i'm going to of course give it new carpeting, but i don't know what to do in that area. definitely not going stock on this car. i've considered doing the coupe fastback conversion, but i don't think i have the skill required for it. i might end up trading the coupe for a fastback of equal condition. any suggestions on parts to use on the Mustang would be helpful
About
when i was 14 and barely old enough to start appreciating cars, i saw a 1968 shelby gt 500 for the first time in my life. i thought it was the most beautiful thing ever conceived. and man did it go fast! ever since, i've been obsessed with mustangs, and my first one (the one i have now) is a 1965 mustang coupe v8. i'm gonna work on it, and then hopefully get a different model.
