got a kia carensII 2004 crdi 80000mls little heavy on fuel but no problems at all so not so bad but then up to 2006 their diesel engines were made by mercedes cant be bad

can anyone help service book says change at 60000 petrol and 90000 diesel but been told at garage its 60000 for both anyone know for sure which is right mine is a 2.0 crdi :sad2:

anyone got any tips on cleaning the engine compartment (diesel) mines not only dirty but oily help please

you can't access it from the bottom the filter fits from the top (upside down to normal way)

had to take intercooler of then the plastic cover over the engine then top part of the timeingcase cover and only just enough room to get it out

anyone had the JOY of changeing oil filter kia carens 2.0crdi what a pain

I took my KIA carens to dealer to have mpg checked they did 100 miles with me in car and returned 49 mpg mainly motorway but never reached more than 60 mph no thanks i'll stay happy with my 35 mpg ha ha
