Thanks very much guys. My A4 3.0, is tiptronic and I was told that supercgargers installed on 'automatics' could be unreliable because of the software. I have also spoken to a prof about remaping and he believes that I will not get a significant boost in hp but will get better...

I would like to achieve 300 hps. It is currently at 220. Will a supercharger get me there?

Thanks Waynne!!! I do not necessarily wish to install paddles. In fact I like the shifters better in terms of location on the steering wheel. Its just that they are not as responsive as the paddles I have tested... I did not know about the learning potential. I will take more care about...

i have a 2002 and this one comes with steering shifter (tiptronic). I like having the option, but they do not seem to be as resonsive as paddles (i test driven newer A/S 4s). Are they separate systems? Can I adjust them?

i hope i am not "highjacking" this thread, but i too have a 3.0 and wondered if i could fit in a turbo. what kind of an expense would this be if i hire a proshop to do it?
