Anything is possible with enough money thrown at it.
What engine is in there now? Have you seen any other projects that suggest the engine could support a turbo with blowing itself apart?
Even without the massive upgrade of a turbo there will be things you can do; decent air filter will release a few extra ponies, as will an exhaust at the other end. Those two combined with a remap will see a few gains in BHP and torque.

However that will cost money (how much I dont know without knowing the exact car and what is available in your area) and it might be more cost effective to start with a different car. How much do you really want to challenge yourself and how much do you like the car?

its a 2018 hyundai elantra sel, it has a naturally aspirated 2.0 liter atkinson cycle engine , (modified ottocycle not true atkinsons cycle) i know the 2.0 can be fitted with a turbo , it was done by vaccar , and there was also the BTR concept that was done in partnership with boostec and hyundai for the 2017 SEMA, boostec has a full turbo kit for my specific car and engine , turbo ,oil lines, intercooler, down pipe ,manifold gaskets and ect so i know it can be turbocharged, not really looking at forced induction right now more or less looling at cold air intake , upsized exaust and a stage 1 ecu flash already found an intake from Ingen for my make and model next step is exuast and ecu flash

The engine is the NU 2.0 multiport injected Atkinson cycle engine , 147 - 154hp at the crank , the car itself uses a automatic 6 speed shiftronic transmission ,

You're on the right track then :)

Hello and a very warm, welcome to TorqueCars from me the admin, sorry for my slow reply.

Thank you so much for joining up and introducing yourself.

I lost my brother recently following a tragic accident whilst he was working so I've not been around on here much. I've set aside some time to catch up with things though and I hope you've been able to have a look around the site and meet some of our regulars.

I have just done some revisions to the main site, so it is hopefully more readable and informative. We're slowly improving and tweaking things as we go and value feedback and suggestions from our members.

It's nice to have an enthusiastic member like you along, I hope you're enjoying the site. Please start up a project thread and share your experiences with all our other members and I wish you all the best in your project.

Keep reading the articles on our site and this forum... you'll pick up loads of good common sense tips and don't be afraid to post questions, were all here to share our knowledge and experience.

We run a really fun and interesting car community and many have said we're the friendliest around, always ready to help out where we can.

Enjoy your time with us, post loads and feel free to ask any questions or begin new threads and discussions. We're always interested to hear your comments and views on our existing topics and in the hot polls.
