Welcome to the Spotted thread. Have you seen another TC'er or something out of the ordinary that made you stop & stare? If so take a snap & post it here! :D

No web finds please, keep it to real cars on the street, car park, garage, your mates house, out side the pab etc...;)

Here Is my first offering...

Seen outside Halfrauds in Cannock this afternoon. The cars belonged to members of the Cannock & district car club & they were there helping to raise money for the County Air Ambulance.

But thats what it is. A Vw Karmann Ghia. Not sure of exact year but it's between 1960-1969 i'm almost 100% sure. My dads friend has one stashed away in his garage and is prob in about the same condition as that one. His is a 1963 1.1 od cc. Can't remember exactly.
OHC and carb fed I do believe.;)

Ah right, the reason I thought it was a Karmann Ghia is because they are to design house names... and I thought it was an add on for the real name.

I've no idea what engine was in that one but it sounded like a bag of spanners...
Left hand drive as well...

same chassis and engines as the beetles just another interchangable body, It was designed by Ghia and built by a coach building firm Karmann in Germany, hence the Karmann Ghia

Great find Jarrus. I love the Exige, great colour too. :)

Here's another Ghia for you, this one was competing in an autosolo, despite it's age (& collectabilty) the driver was giving the beans & getting the tail out too.

something I didn't know that i recently found out was that Ford sub contracted the Escort Cosworth out to Karmann and they put them together at their factory in Germany,

Every day's a school day

Oh I see, this is your courtesy car while the Saab gets in laughing gas plumbed in.
In that case, giz us a goo mista! :D

 Well if you make it to Santa Pod later in the year with the TC crew I just might! of the Saab that is

sorry didnt get any real picks as i didnt have my phone on me:sad2:
but spotted 1 of these at the end of my road. the car was identical to this other than it was an 1988 and its steering wheel was on the correct side.

also at the same house the bloke has finished his ac/shelby cobra

which looks very similar to this but as above the steering wheel was on the correct side.

(pic removed for the moment, causing some technical problems, Loz.)

I once swapped a V12 e type for a left hand drive dax cobra, kept knocking my knuckles on the corner of the dash.

Pretty sure that car was at our meet at Timmy's and it won best suspension setup in the BHP performance show in kent. It gets around. I'll be checking the no plate later.

Ooooooh I likes that VeeDuB.

Saw it in Stavanger, Norway last week.

It's a Norwegian made electric car that been around since 1991, to me it looks like what I would expect a modern 2CV should be. I quite like it & it's certainly an improvement over the G-wiz. :p
