Just a reminder to everyone that we now all have car photo storage space. http://www.torquecars.com/forums/all_albums.php Resize your pics to 90kb or so before uploading them otherwise you'll be there all day. I'd love to see pics of your cars, your cars modifications, projects, work in progress and shows that you have been to. Your album will also show up in your profile so your profile is now even more of a personal website!
There is a new gallery on the site which members can upload pictures to. You have to be logged in to view the members galleries and features. https://www.torquecars.com/forums/media/ I've been uploading the old gallery pics and have just done the london motorshow pictures. (2-3000 More photos to come soon!) https://www.torquecars.com/forums/media/categories/car-shows.1/ You get to your own gallery through your Profile Control panel and your gallery will show up in your profile and become a part of the site gallery. (Galleries can only be viewed by members and they can only be created if you have 10 or more posts.) If you have got some car show pics we'd love to see them. Also you can comment on pictures now - so enjoy.
Welcome to the Spotted thread. Have you seen another TC'er or something out of the ordinary that made you stop & stare? If so take a snap & post it here! :D No web finds please, keep it to real cars on the street, car park, garage, your mates house, out side the pab etc...;) Here Is my first offering... Seen outside Halfrauds in Cannock this afternoon. The cars belonged to members of the Cannock & district car club & they were there helping to raise money for the County Air Ambulance.
Hi all, in my time away from this fantastic forum I went to TRAX 2008. It was a great day out and a real experience. There was a good show of car clubs from across the UK, and the largest collection of Fords and Vauxhalls I have ever seen! There was also action on the track and a chance to do a run. In the show area there was a selection of ICE-out rides, dancing girls (sorry...no pics) and various stuff to buy. EA (Electronic Arts) were also showing previews of some the new games due out soon! There was also the great finally of hundred's of modified cars leaving at once. Ford Escort Cabriolet Ford Fiesta Honda CRX (and Peugeot 206 in background) Volkswagon Golf Rear Light Mitsubishi FTO A Team Van...
Hello Dear friends I have replaced hi lift camshaft in my Charade G 10 car it is a CB engine when i do that i don't have a adjustable timing wheel so what i did was i advanced 1 tooth from camshaft wheel and timed the engine i think it is look like OK it has power and hi RPM please send me your value advises Thank you yours Manel
Todays standard screen resolution is 1024x768 pixels. Some use higher res, some use lower, but this seems to be the most used res. When using a BB such as this with this screen res, the largest you want to upload a picture is 800pixels wide, as otherwise the screen is widened and you have to scroll along to see the pic, and also any text posts after it aswell - which is not fun! So bear in mid when resizing your pics, not to go wider than 800 pixels wide! Now, for you folk with graphics programmes such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro (personally I use PSP7) resizing is easy. Just open that programme, open the pic(s) you want to resize and go to your RESIZE option. With most of these programmes you can choose a percentage or a pixel...
Hi everyone, my names Matt and i have a 307 1.6 16v Rapier. Have only modded this a little but want to continue until i need to buy a new one :) I have a full stainless dual exit exhaust system, simota forced air induction kit, would've had a set of 18" inovit blade alloys but my gearbox decided to die lol so there next, do you guys have any ideas on mods?? any engine type, i dont have a clue what to do with it
Here's some photos of the G60 I had a few years back. I would recommend one to anyone. It was amazing to drive. It was running 210bhp with a standard pulley. It sounded amazing with the combo of a stage 4 charger and a supersprint exhaust !! It was a bit unpractical for going up and down the motorway each day though especially being left hand drive. But it was fun !!
There's more in my profile. At present it's waiting on a couple more mandrel bends to arrive so we can finish the FMIC pipework. Since this phot was taken a few more bits have been added to the engine bay but not a great deal, mainly just some chromed items. Hopefully we'll find time in the next week or so to get it all together, we need the ramp space anyway. I'll add some more phots, probably to my profile, when it's back on four wheels.
Hey All. Took the new-look wrapped 'ssat to GTi Spring Festival 2010 and couldn't resist a few 1/4 mile passes: > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6cihc1WOZ0 > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wYO-MCKIik My best of the day was a 13.219 sec I *know* I could have got into the 13.1's if only I was carrying less fuel. Had just over a 1/3 of a tank. Royally messed up my calculations as to how much fuel I would need to get there this morning. Couple of photos from the official track photographer:
Hi all, it's been quite a while since I posted an update for my on-going project. I haven't actually done a whole lot recently due to lack of funds and I would have taken more pics but the weather hasn't exactly been great lately . Since the last update I have gone EK9 with the grill and lights. I've also got HIDs fitted which I now think everyone on here should do as they are great! The rims are different from the last update due to a crash I had back in March time (some of you may remember). They're only temps though. I now have a Greddy Evo 2 exhaust (cat back) which replaced my old Powerflow. I have also fitted a aerial block off plate. Thank you to Hond-R for the work. Here are a couple pics: Next up is a set of...
hi everybody, it was nice to get a message from the moderator Wayne who wondered where I was since no one heard from me in a long while. It is nice to be missed. So here I am, been busy building my 88 Jaguar XJS, some modifications and alot of new parts. Sounds like a mean machine now with straight pipes. I'll post some more pics.

I keep mentioning Bod, my old Smart. So I thought I'd put some pic's up of it, sadly I've lost the folder with the photo's, I think I left it on my old lap top. :( So I've had to search for some on the net & here they are. Thanks to my mother and wifes big mouths i got asked to go over my mums bosses car. So with the Punto being a catastrophic MoT failure way back at the start of last year and the Civic going nowhere for ages (and to be honest not being quite what I wanted, plus the panels needed some TLC before I could start properly doing any mods) I've done something maybe a little bit silly and bought something else. I got this instead: Notice how it comes pre-loaded with Peugeot SP kit including wheel arch extensions, front grill and spoiler? Starting out with a 205, I guess I've always been more into French hatches, complete with all their quirks.
thought i would take the 4th gen into work today so i could show my mates misses the car plus get a pic for the comp just about tto go and a customer come in and wanted to have a ride so we went for a quick drive up the road just say i have never been up that part of the road so quick before ;) to to add before some one deoes the car is dirty as it has not been washing in 3 weeks and the car is for sale at the min on ebay and my comp pic
Well here is my little baby Ive done pretty much all i wanted with the body, morretts, 17" rims and a re spray. For my next project this is the XU10 J2T low pressure turbo engine that will be going into it eventualy once ive rebuilt it. rebuilt lots of engines, its what keeps me sane:lol: but never really got into tuning so when the time comes im hoping for a little guidance. Hey all this is my motor i got on tuesday for £600 and the insurance is £2612 Fully Comp so I just put her through the MOT and as you can see i cocked up with the motor oil trying to add oil in a force 7 gale doe not work!! This is My Fiat 1.2 8v ELX Its not anywhere near as nice as your cars but its quite nimble imho Any tips on what I can improve?
Aup! Just sold my little baby!!! Which was alot harder to do then realised even though i had my new phat 172 Cup parked at the side of it. These little cars are great fun and with little changes can be quite surprising at times!!! When i bought the car it was in a sorry state but with lots of TLC the car seemed to sit in a legue of its own. Here are sum photo's of her: http://www.torquecars.com/forums/album.php?albumid=23
not pretty, but did a job all the same :blink1: Mini of course! Everyone has to play with one of these! Chevette-started life with a 1.9 Manta engine, then that expired and in went a Rover V8, semi-space framed front end. A case of tail wagging the dog with this! Audi GT 2.4i I also had a 1340 Mini, no pictures, that ran a Longman engine, rallycross spec, 48 Weber, Jack Knight straight cut box and a Quaife slipper. I also designed and fabricated my own coilover rear beam axle. Redundancy put paid to that beauty.
New to the forum. Not done a huge amount of custom work yet but some of what I have done took me a long time (doube din facia - they don't exsist on 75/ZTs). Facia still needs a bit of work and inline filter yet to be complete. Fitted new dash and steering wheel although I have no photos of hat yet.

C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\My Documents\My Pictures\SXI\IMGP0360.JPG C:\Documents and Settings\Adam\My Documents\My Pictures\SXI\IMGP0361.JPG both are pictures of the 6'' x 9''s i fitted due to their being 2 great holes in the parcel shelf. i had to make mdf mounts first and then cover it with faux leather, as the holes were too big in some areas.
Hi guys n' gals hope all are well. Well this time is no exception for me going nuts on a car lol. So first of all, lets recap for those that have forgotten or haven't seen my cars since being a member on here. When I just got her: After playing around with white GT stripes first, I settled for these custom Matt Silver ones: Fitted a MotorCade CAI kit: Then some engine bay bling: And I Colour coded the inside of the headlights Matt Black: Then tinted the rear lights. You will see I dropped the suspension with a H&R 35mm drop, and fitted Racing Heart concepts Racer Series rims. Hope you like!!! Comments will be welcome.

As a few of you know we've been expecting our first baby and at 9:13am this morning (27/02/09) little Lucy-Jane came into the world. She is 3 weeks early but very healthy and fully developed. Both mother and baby are doing well. Lianne is in over night of course and should be back home tomorrow. Here's my baby girl:- I'll get a couple more shots when shes back home and settled. I'm sooooo happy, and it looks like I got the new car just in time lmao. Almsot as if she knew lol. Cheers BAD63R
did anyone go down to sittingbourne today? there was a classic car and classic bike show on at the greyhound track. some really nice trikes too, there was a honda fireblade trike and a few hotrods, didnt manage that many pics as i couldnt find my camara but borrowed my dads camara phone for a few.
The pulsar is going into storage.. so i can spend some time on this.. just found my best car find to date.. got talking to one of the builders who is doing some work on my house.. He told me his dad had one of them toyota rally cars thats been sitting in his garage for over 6 years. . it needed moving due to him leaving... so i said i would pop round to view it.. you could not even see the car in the garage.. but as soon as it was clear of rubbish.. it turned out to be a UK GT4 90,000 with full service history prior to storage and in the rare colour... He took it off the road due to a cracked rad as he thought he had to import one for japan.. ...Anyway on closer inspection in tured out to being a carlos sainz edition number 2356...
