Worlds fastest street car

What is the fastest production street car in the world? Just raw top speed in MPH?

Jaguar XJ220 - 217mph
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport - 254mph
McLaren F1 - is it 230 or 240 mph (there seem to be both quoted as the top speed)​

As far as I know it is the Bugatti Super Sport but a number of sites including Bugatti's own state 258mph. There are others out there who claim to go faster but they do not seem to have been proven, the speed projection is just theoretical at the moment.

A perfectly street legal, fully insured, car that is capable of 0-60 in 0.7 seconds

Production car top speed? you've already mentioned it; the Bugatti. However no one has enough street to get that high (plus, unless you are on the track what is the point in going over 70?)

Production car 0-60? This is more important in the "real world" as it used more. Porsche 911 Spyder has done it in 2.2 seconds (and I thought my 5.8 was fast )
