What is the most important speed range to have your acceleration in?
0-30
30-50
40-60
50-70
60-90

Or do you find you need it in a much wider range of speeds?

40-60 or maybe 30-60 for more real life situations around this way. Getting past slow moving lorries or old people is a common occurrence on country roads this way and this is why I like my remapped TDi, it just effortlessly dispatches them. See to many cars pull out to overtake and then spend buttock clenchingly to long trying to get past.

Because they are doing it wrong.

Pull back from the car/lorry in front so one can see passed it without having to enter the other side of the road.
Drop a gear and accelerate (obviously only if clear to do so).
By the time one reaches the vehicle in front again one should be travelling at a good speed to get passed them with ease.

Im guessing 60-160 mph is my territory easily accessible up a slip road on to a motorway. The Koenigsegg 1 that recently set a new UK Topspeed record ran 0-187mph in 12 secs during that run. I wonder if he thinks about his 40-60mph time.
