Greetings Chris and welcome to our TorqueCars forum :)
Not sure but I think the 2002 GM ECU is borderline re-mappable. You could try contacting Celtic Tuning and Viezu: https://www.celtictuning.co.uk/ & https://viezu.com/ who have great reputations and you can trust them. You should be able to put in the car details on their very simple form for the answers. Good luck to you Chris |B

Greetings TC

Thanks for your reply and suggestion
I've been told by a mechanical engineer who works for Perfect Touch (specialists in executive and sports cars) that mapping the ECU would only bring 15bhp which wouldn't be worth doing however combined with a cooling kit and exhaust system there might be a noticeable improvement .. My aim is to improve the suspension system (lowering springs and harder shocks) as my car leans too much then decide what the best wheel size is fir my car before I fit a modest body styling kit so as to improve its over all looks and handling before I look to improve torque and mechanical performance. I will also touch base with those guys you suggested fir a second opinion and price quotes ✌️

Many thanks again ..

Regards

ChrisA
