Testing a Lambda sensor 620Ti

how do i test my lamba senors r gone. coz my car drives lumpy and misfires extra 10miles fuel to 1 gallon

Are you sure there is not a fault with the engine running rich,lean due to other means? You can check the signal from the lambda with a volt meter but you wont have a baseline to compare it against.

ok how do i test my lamba with volt meter wat settings how is this done

Does your temp gauge work properly? Does it warm up and stay in 1 place or does the needle keep going up and down?

thats fine mate works gd. i starterd the car today and i went under car and where my decat pipe is i can see smoke can that be a prob

When can you see smoke? When it cold or all the time? That may be just a gasket and if it isn't alot of smoke it shouldn't really cause a prob..

just a bit of smoke where the decat is . erm i not tryed it after the car is warm only at cold this morning saw it.

I'd put that down to a gasket myself. It shouldn't cause any probs though if it's not blowing too much....

The sensor is in the manifold mate..

I haven't got a clue on that buddy. It depends what other cars use the same engine?

I'm unsure on that 1. I would of thought so but I may be wrong? Something I can't help you with i'm afraid.. Try postin a new thread in the mazda section...

You would use the Mazda ecu but you may find that you have to have the driveshafts specially made.... Unsure on this though as it depends on what parts you do eventually use..
