hi all,

been offered these cheap and was wondering if they look ok?(as in damaged in any way!) they're mgzs 180 shocks and springs as an upgrade for my mc2.

any help appreciated asap as am wanting to buy soon!

Hard to tell from the picture as to their condition. How many miles are they alledged to have done? Is there any leaking fluid around any of the seals? Can you see if there are any cracks around the springs or housing?

If everything looks good and the used mileage is low then I do not see why not. I have sold on two complete sets of coilovers from my car while I have upgraded and in each case the new owners have been delighted.

But don't take my word for it as somebody far more knowledgable than I may yet produce a reason why these might need to be avoided.

Whatever happens, do not get rid of your old set up until you are thoroughly sure that the replacement set are up to scratch.

What T9 says plus I suggest that you find out why they were removed from the original vehicle.

Generally, you get what you pay for.
