Hi all,
Had a hybrid turbo fitted to my 2008 Leon 1.9 105 and she's currently sitting around the 190 mark, the clutch is understandably starting to slip so looking at a solid conversion kit. Been looking on eBay and has anyone any experience of a Hahn and Schmidt clutch kit (solid flywheel, clutch plate, high performance pressure plate and release bearing)? They're about £135 on eBay and wondering if the price is too good to be true
Also getting a bigger cat back exhaust and should I just upgrade the downpipe to a mk4 golf 130 one? They're pretty easy picked up
Thanks

The highest rated clutch I could find on eBay was this one, at 130bhp.

If you are looking at 190bhp and beyond, you will be pushing this clutch toward, if not past, its limit, I would have thought.

Maybe you should be looking at something like this:

Or even this, with a suitable flywheel:

I wouldn't go solid on the TDI engines. The DMF is there for a reason. A solid flywheel will cause many vibrations and judders to shoot to the drivetrain. Have you looked at Darkside developments, they have a few suitable upgrade options for your car.
