Simple tuning for Mitsubishi Eclispe 96 (w/h turbo)

Hey.
To start with, I'm as dumb as they comes when we're talking about car engines.
I can switch simple things that's similar to motorcycles but nothing more

It's a 2.4L 155hp engine, or 2L, not entirely sure, without turbo

What are some simple tunings I could do that would give some notable horsepower, without emptying my entire bank account?

I am a long time Mitsubishi owner and may I suggest that you either trade the car in on a turbo model OR buy a turbo front cut and transfer the motor and loom into your car.

Your motor is most likely a 4G63 2000cc OR a 4g64 2400cc.

Well, frankly I don't think It's possible to trade into a turbo model.
Been on the used car market for ages looking for Mitsubishi Eclipse with turbo and not a single one for months.

Any idea what it would cost for a turbo? Was rather thinking the price of the job and not the turbo.

It's not just the cost of a turbo alone but the cost of all the supporting mods that will / may break your wallet when you factor in the total cost of the following items

Turbo
intercooler and pipework
bigger injectors
turbo manifold
3 inch exhaust
Aftermarket computer and wiring loom
Forged pistons and rods ( a must do if it is to last when you turn up the boost)
Dyno tuning
Big brake conversion ( nobody builds a turbo motor to go slower so you will be stopping from faster speeds)
Remove head and have it recoed and install a MLS gasket plus ARP head studs
Replace water pump and timing belts when head is off.
Better tyres
