Sat nav screen issue

Anyone got any ideas?

Sat nav Screen appears to have power (is backlit), but is completely blank - no BMW logo at start-up, no menu, nothing. Radio working as normal.

I'm thinking it's a loose connection somewhere - help on where to look would be appreciated, is it easy to fix ? do I need to replace a new one ?

What year is this buddy? A friend of mine had a similar problem on his 2011 I believe. He was advised to pull a particular fuse in the fusebox, this resets the ecu which holds the factory information that is sent to the screen from various control units - low and behold it worked. I think he got the information from where this fuse was on a simple Google search.
