RWD/AWD Diesel

Hi everyone I'm new to the site

Now that's over with, can anyone/everyone draw together a list of the top 3 (under £3k) RWD and AWD diesels based upon; power and torque outputs, handling, performance modability (Remaps etc) and of course... how FUN they are to drive

The Subaru I believe is a horizontally opposed flat four diesel much like it's petrol cousins.

I have a client who drives one and it's very nice but it's a relatively noisy engine.

Similarly I have no idea about pricing

Thats a shame... I would have thought they'd be rather refined! Guess I was very wrong!

It is a shame because all other aspects of the car are sublime.

I own a outback petrol and it's refined and luxurious to drive!
But the handling is terrible!! I presume the diesel version would be the same? It's not fun at all in the corners!

BMW or Merc are the popular RWD diesel options out there. I'm struggling to think of others.
