Rich on idle

Anyone have any clues about mixture settings on tickover? Standard 206 gti 137bhp, runs fine except if left to tick over for more than 30 seconds it can stall or when i go to set off it splutters for a bit then goes, iv had it on an analyser and the mixture is great all through the rev range, but on tickover the co goes through the roof, sometimes the engine management light comes on if i leave it ticking over, plugged a snapon machine in to diagnose and it said fueling problem, lambda, so changed it and its still the same, theres no air leaks and all the temp sensors seem ok, strange but annoying.
Anyone got any ideas???

have you tried cleaning the throttle body ? you may find that its covered in carbon build up
