New exhaust

Had to have a new full exhaust, cat and flexpipe on Friday. Knew the exhaust was on the way out but the cat got damaged by stones on the road so needed to be done too.

373 quid. Ouch, but tbh at least it's a Ford so not as bad as it could have been.

The car is now so quiet it's amazing though, you almost can't tell it's a diesel when it's cruising. I hadnt realised how bad it had got really.

Is there an upgrade on the new system Guy such as a protective shield for the CAT?

I didn't look tbh - I don't want to spend any more than I have to as it'll be going towards the end of the year.
