Mondeo 2.0 silvertop

Hi all i've just joined the forum tonight. I have a 1.6 escort finesse and in time i hope to do the 2.0 silvertop conversion. I've never done a swap before but i might have a friend at hand anyway and i've read through a few guides and haynes manual just to get to know what i'll be working on. I was wondering what stuff i'd need, a handy guide to follow from and is it best to get the full donor car or just buy in bits? Also has anyone esle on here done this swap before?
