MG TC modern day equivalent?

Hi guys, I was just wondering what you guys thought the modern day equivalent to a MG TC might be for young people today? What is British, affordable, and has something of the spirit of the MG... or maybe MG TC. Any ideas ?

There's not a lot around that is british, let alone similar to an MG TC.

A Caterham or Lotus 7 perhaps?

What is it about the TC you like the most?

Cuopen captures the spirit of a 2 door open.

GBR sports cars have a 2 seater roadster but these cars are very rare.
