What interesting cars do your mates and friend drive? Are you jealous or do you have the best car in your circle of associates?

I also have a friend with a nice S6 which I've had a drive of.
 
One of my mates has a ferrari 360, but he won't hand me the keys to it.
He rents it out for weddings and such.
One of my other mates used to have a BMW Evo cab that I was always swiping the keys to in the summer.
The one I really want a go in is my mates S2 Escort Rs Turbo.
He's had it over 10 years and it's absolutely mint.
 
My mate who owns his own garage has an Evo VIII FQ-300. The only car on the road that i would love to own really. Went for a passenger drive in it the other week and jeez they are quick!!

But i also would love to own an Escort Cosworth! If only i was a millionaire!
 
Most of my mates think (or know:bigsmile:) Im insane where cars are concerned so we dont ever get into the comparison thing.

I do have quite a few who drive skylines (from the owners club) Most drive big bhp cars so mine isnt special at all.

They are far more interested in the 32GTR I am restoring to factory spec.

A few of my friends have some exotica, Lambo Gallardo, Ferrari California & 430, Bentley supersports, Audi R8's not jealous at all but very happy for them! ;)
 
I've got a good mate with a Corsa VXR. I'm waiting to have a go in that.

I also know plenty of BMW owners so there are a fair few M3s, M5s, M6s and all sorts. Used to know a fair few other guys with Skylines, Evos and Scoobies but don't bother with that club anymore (way to clicky and only care about their own cars).

Not really too bothered if they have nice cars. I like mine and will one day join them. :)
 
Got a mate with a celica gt4,nice car but he stripped it out for drag racing,so spoilt it!.Got another mate with an altima gtr kit car 500 bhp,but it is of the road,dont know if it will go back on road!would love to have a go in it!!!.

& another friend of mine is cursing me for introducing him to Zcars, because he's now seriously thinking of buying one as a weekend toy. :lol:
 
^^^ Look at that bad boy! :amazed: I remember seeing one of these on You Tube with a Hayabusa engine fitted, it left a Murcielago for dead :blink:
 
Pah! Motorbike engines are for girls, that's a 2L MR2 engine right there, & an Eaton supercharger is being nailed on as we speak ready for next season. :D
 
my girlfriends dad mas a nice TVR griffith 3000 that im regularly blagging rides in especially since he done all his engine mods and fitted a decat exhaust system with cherry bombs out the back, it sounds nice, drives nice and looks even better. but the i have always been a fan of the classics so im slightly biast :-D
 
A mate of mine has a Black GTR which is very nice and he's not afraid to drive it like it's been stolen! :) He won't let me drive it though!

quite alot of my mates are into their cars too and some of them im not to keen on but appreciate the time, money and effort that has gone into them, i.e. one has a 300bhp pug 205 gti with an mi16 na lump in it, goes like a rocket but does nothing for me, would rather have the kick of a turbo lol

Neither will I...

I am merely jealous that my friends have been driving for the best part of 2 and a half years and I am still awaiting for lessons so I can then book a test with a few more hours under my wing... Expensive few months means a delay...that reminds me, any one want to lend me £200? :p

My best mate has a rather nice Ibiza 1.4, and an ex work colleague has a Seat Leon Cupra R, that has an uprated turbo, remap and some other goodies, now that was quick!

The guy my mrs works for has a 3 litre mr2 his next adition is a supercharger it is at the moment in the sprayshop!,i am not sure what engine it is but it is a toyota one!.
 
I'm probably at the top of my friend tree though most of them haven't been driving long, or aren't into cars as such, or don't drive. lol. Looking forward to keeping this one and seeing what I can do with it :D
 
You may have a very very fast car but the following proves your mates may be faster.
My car reached the final of TOTB but was beaten in the rwd drag final by a Supra who just happened to be mapped by the same Tuner & a mate. Bugger that !!! :D.

That's really galling!
 
In my group of friends, we have quite the mixture of cars... Nissan GTR, Lambo LP560-4, BMW 335d, VW Golf Mk7 GTD, Mercedes C350 AMG Sport+, Mazda 3 MPS, Golf Mk5 GTI etc all being the nicer ones. There is also a Kia C'eed to balance things out which my mate Andy bought purely because he worked for Kia and got a discount!
 
few people in my group of mates have changed cars so not quite as impressive as above but still some nice cars...
Audi TT all forged etc, will be around 500+bhp after mapping
Focus RS Mk1 around 350-400
Mk2 focus RS MR375
Focus ST running 550+bhp, has a screamer pipe and is one of the best sounding cars ive heard!
Audi RS3 400+bhp
Clio V6 (standard power but minty mint!)
Another mk1 Focus RS (again standard power but is concourse)
BMW E46 3 series (again not much power but has a unique spray job and alloys)
Cossie powered Mk1 Escort In glow in the dark green (currently being built)

So yeah some nice motors, and people have change a few in between too, mates have had:
R35 GTR
R33 GTS-t
Couple more Focus RS+ST's etc.
