It's called The Leyburn Historic Sprints and while I may only get 8 klms of total track time over the 2 day event it remains a high point of the year as there is a wonderful atmosphere with a wide range of vehicles entered.As per usual my car will be loaded onto my tandem trailer and the 4x4 tow car loaded with my camping gear so I can camp in the pit area.

The pics is from last year at my favorite part where there is a left kink into a short straight and a left kink to exit that is followed very shortly by a 90 right.

You will find them on page 4 the pics on the left.

It will be the first time to find out what the rear roll centre mod that I have posted in it's own post behaves.

The pic is when I was lined up outside the pub chatting to an old mate while waiting to be called up to the start line.

Had a good 2.5 hour drive to Leyburn and the place was very busy and the strong cold wind made things difficult to set up camp and the wind never let up all night and woke to the same cold blustery wind all day Saturday.

Woke to -4 deg Sunday morning with the cars covered in ice but fortunately no wind and ended up as a sunny and warm cloudless day.
Set similar times to last year so not slowing down yet

The rear lower roll center mod seems to have made the car a bit less twitchy in the rear but will need more track time to learn more about how it behaves.

Had an uneventful drive home and arrived in time for our evening meal.
