Hello to all !

I am Prateek from New Delhi , Capital city of India . I own a chevrolet cruze 2.0 TDI . Very fond of driving cars .

The BHP of current model is 150 . I understand that with ECU remapping this can be enhanced to 180 BHP . Is it worthwhile to go for it ?

May I have some guidance on this >

With best of luck

Greetings and Welcome to our TorqueCars Forum my Friend!

Good to have you along with us :)

Well a 30 BHP addition to something that only puts out 150 has got to be worth an investment I would have thought. You can have the car mapped for performance or economy, depends on which you prefer.

Thanks fro advice . KIndly clarify if remapping will certainly increase the BHP or it would be a show off only . Infact the dealer talks so much marketing talks ?
I am confused . I am not sure if the BHP would be enhanced really ?

Pl help me to decide .

Regards

 OK I shall try and make this a little more simpler for you ;)

1) YES mapping WILL increase your BHP - You can have your car mapped for economy i.e. consumes less fuel if driven normally or the car can be mapped for performance i.e. goes faster than it did before and consumes more fuel!

2) SHOW OFF ONLY! depends on if you drive your car sensibly or like a lunatic!
