Integra auto box to manual box conversion.

    Was wondering if anyone knows the ins and outs of auto to manual box conversions.Engine is dc2 1.8 bc18c.Obviously the pedal assembly is the main addition but what about the electronic side of things i,e sensors,ECU

    I think you can fool the car into thinking the manual box is an auto in park or neutral so it starts. Ideally though you'd need a manual transmission ECU as the auto one will throw up an error code.

    It helps if the years match up too ie: for a 1990 Integra you need a 1990 PR4 ECU from a manual Integra. You also can't use the auto intermediate shaft and must get a manual one.
