Got caught out a little this morning.

A frosty wet road had a sheet of ice on a bend. No damage done thankfully I was driving at a sensible speed and pace and was able to react quickly.

It actually wasn't that cold. The car was showing 4.5 degrees!

Be careful chaps, it's starting to get icy out there.

The ice is forming! The ice is forming!

It's been cold here (sub zero) in the mornings for the last few days. Yesterday I drove past someone pouring water over their windows to clear the ice. Today I drove past them staring at their cracked windscreen. I shouldn't have laughed but I did :)

Took me by surprise yesterday as well, had to go to the garage to get the full geometry re-tweaked and I spent nearly 10 minutes before I set of clearing the ice off all the windows.

Quiet you!

The ice on the road didn't catch me out this morning but the ice on the pavement did. My arse is sore
It appears my tyres have better grip than my shoes
