Assume average mileage 12,000 per year times the number of years you've been driving if you don't know. It all adds up, especially when you think how far that could have been in a straight line.

For me it's around 168,000 miles which is over half way to the Moon (238900 miles) or round the earth 6.74 times (earth is 24901 miles around the equator) I didn't do many miles at all early on but I'm more than making up for it now.

I know I dont drive 12k a year (at least in my own cars); I cover between 4-5k a year (just checked my MOT history and I've done about 25k in 5 years).
However when I was driving for a living.... I was doing between 400 and 800 miles a night. 5 nights a week for 4 years (minus 4 weeks annually for holiday).
Taking that average alone...
600 miles x 5 nights = 3000.
3000 x 48 weeks = 144,000.
144,000 x 4 years = 576,000 miles driven in company cars.

Plus 5k per year for 20 years (easy maths = 100,000).

A lot of driving :)

Been driving for 60 + years and doing 15000 klm's plus per year and was doing 1000 klm's + per 5 day week when supervising for 3 years
