We hit -4 inland yesterday which came as quite a shock after the relatively mild weather.

What about where you are?
 
we got a lot sun today, altho last 2 days we had strong wind causing so many damages, that's why keep your cars in safe places when there's wind. today was plus 17 degrees celsius. still warm.
