Wonder if any other countries have a similar scheme ?

Seeing my car is now 30 years young I have now been able to change to club registration that requires a car club membership and restricts usage to driving to and from events, workshops and testing so in effect does not limit what I do so should Mr Plod stop me I am always checking /bedding in brakes .

I might add that I don't drive in a manner that would cause him to want to have a chat.;)

A big plus is that the registration fees have dropped from $700.00 to $190.00 per year |B :D

We have classic car insurance, where for an agreed car valuation, a restricted mileage and certain other conditions you can have really cheap insurance. Membership of a club sometimes leads to further discounts.

I have my car has full comprehensive accident cover (but not insured when competing)with Shannon's for an agreed sum plus the wreck if it was written off with me as the nominated driver and limited mileage use.
Most importantly all the mods are listed on the cover note.

Can you get track cover as a separate policy out there? We have a few schemes over here.
