Hi

Thinking of buying a 911 Carrera 4 Cabrio (1999) but we need a complete interior
refit - seats, dash, steering wheel. (Evil colour leather currently) Anyone have a contact and an idea of cost?

Hi and welcome to forum.
You can get complete interiors from breakers like
http://www.jmgarage.com/ Call Jon he has loads of spares for any model Porsche. This is where I get my parts from just say Aerial Andy sent you.
If he can't help then these guys should have something but they're a bit pricey http://www.douglasvalley.co.uk/results.asp?spg=33&pgid=2
Or you could try costing a retrim from guys like http://www.surreytrimming.co.uk/ or http://www.southboundtrimmers.com/ are both respected interior trimmers in the Porsche community.

Cost's? It's got the 'P' word so expect £x,000's ;) My 944 front seats, which are similar to the 964, in linen leather were quoted at around £800 to retrim.

Hope that helps

Andy

Thanks Andy - that's great. I was thinking it was a dead end and maybe I shouldn't buy it! I kinda figured someone on this forum would help - again - many thanks!

Prices of 996's are very keen at the moment and so you get a lot of modern supercar machinery for your money :D 911Virgin looks like they're near you and are a get bunch or guys near Uxbridge who have a wealth of contacts and knowledge and help us guys out in the PCGB/TIPEC clubs a lot. They have a list of Porsche contacts on their website or give them a ring also. http://www.911virgin.com/home/
