So banning diesels, upping fuel duty or other measures will not actually help the problem.
If people are serious about reducing particulates then remove speed bumps, alter traffic lights to let cars flow better and remove other traffic calming measures and allow cars to travel at a constant steady speed around our towns.
Braking and stop start driving in traffic are what are really bad for particulate levels in towns.
