Hi! My name is Carlos and Im from Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. I have a Seat Ibiza 2012 6J. It have the 2.0 8v engine from VW. These engines, although old design and somewhat lack of power, have a lot of torque and makes a great combo with the lightweight Ibiza. And because of this, I have modified this car to make a high compression engine, going to the "all-engine" build.

I know that putting a turbo would be easier, but I also wanted to know about cars so I made this mod all myself. Using the 2.0 TSI pistons that have the same bore of this 2.0, I raised the compression from 10:1 to 11.5:1. To make greater use of the high compression I bought a 268/260 camshaft from Techtonics Tunning. I know it would be better a bigger camshaft but that was a rookie mistake. Also I installed headers, CAI and performance plug wires. Also Im running Autolite 3922, one range colder than the oem spark plugs

Plans for this car:

-Upgrade the exhaust. I have bought a Dynomax Superturbo Muffler in discount, but I hadnt had the money to install it and also upgrade to a 2 1/4 in pipe. Here smog tests are mandatory so I cannot uninstall the cat

-Upgrade to coil: I searched on internet and maybe I will install performance coils from MSD or MAXX. Someone have installed the gm waste spark coil in this car, so maybe I will going to this path

-Upgrade to camshaft: Maybe I will buy a 272 techtonics tunning camshaft with performance springs.

Thank you!
