right so i took the battery out of the pug today and made a school boy error it reset my sony cdx-m1000tf head unit and cant find the code and dont really trust these people that offer the code for a tenner if i give them serial num etc any helpers :) cheers
 
Try Sony customer services, I'm sure they can help but expect them to ask for a proof of purchase.
