fly wheel

Hi guys has any one fitted a lighter fly wheel in there porsche ?
if so what was the out come ?
I have a 997 3.8 and about to fit a performance clutch so thought about fit fly wheel .

Would love to hear from you so could make right choice

It makes sense to my mind but don't go too light. I don't suppose the standard flywheels are DMF units are they? If so I'd lose it without a hestitation.

i have been talking to a agent whos company sells fly wheels and your right about going to light , it would struggle in traffice amd day to day motering

Getting a lighter clutch will make a difference as well so combined with a light flywheel you may well be overdoing it.

Do you know the weight of a standard flywheel for this?

not sure if clutch is lighter , but need a better performance clutch as it slips in 1st and 2nd beacuse off torque , ikts only done 10k .
Think i found fly wheel having talks with company in states they have different sizes in weight so be able to find the one that will suit my needs
