RHD - Superb Specification - The 458 Spider was premiered at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and is the convertible variant of the 458 Italia. It features an aluminium retractable hardtop which, according to Ferrari, weighs 25 kilograms less than a soft roof such as the one found on the Ferrari F430 Spider. This was the first Ferrari to feature a solid roof such as this and it can be opened in just 14 seconds giving the best of both worlds. The engine cover was redesigned to accommodate the retractable roof system which was designed to be as light as physically possible. Remarkably the Spider has the same 0 – 60 mph time as the hard-top and a top speed of 199 mph. This UK RHD example was delivered new to Mr Jamie Kennell located in London, on the 16th of June 2014, via Ferrari dealer Dick Lovett.
