5,900 Miles - The 458 Spider was premiered at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and is the convertible variant of the 458 Italia. It features an aluminium retractable hardtop which, according to Ferrari, weighs 25 kilograms less than a soft roof such as the one found on the Ferrari F430 Spider. This was the first Ferrari to feature a solid roof such as this and it can be opened in just 14 seconds giving the best of both worlds. The engine cover was redesigned to accommodate the retractable roof system. The Spider has the same 0–60 mph time as the hard-top and a top speed of 199 mph. This example has a spectacular, and extremely expensive, specification and was delivered in June 2104 by Dick Lovett in Swindon. It is finished in magnificent Nero Daytona with Nero leather sports seats, and Grigio option wheels. This stunning two owner example further benefits form an extensive specification of options, the interior features a carbon driving zone and a steering wheel with LED shift lights.
